a) Which webmin version do you use? (Try the lates preview 1.429).
b) Give me some logon data and I will try to backup some files to you and I will
see if I run into the same error.

Right now I am backing up my files to an attached data storage which is being
backed up by my provider. So there is no need to use FTP-backup for me.
