Hi Jamie, I reopened this after trying the above and any number of other solutions. Turning off the RPC calls just generated an "invalid RPC login" error. Back to fast RPC calls, The same thing happens no matter what port I choose (25000, 30000, 35000 etc) they all try to increment the port number. The server will register fine with webmin, it's only when I try to add to the BIND cluster or the cluster webmin servers modules. It seems that once the server gets added to a bind module on one box ( any box, none in particular) all the rest try to increment it. Now the really odd part is that this serialization carries throughout the network. Specifically, boxa tries and you fail port xxxx2. Boxb will fail port xxxx3, go back to boxa and it will fail port xxxx4, boxc will then fail port xxxx5 Gettin frustrated here as I need to turn up these new nameservers before the old network addressing gets turned off. thanks, Dan |
