Hello all once again. Over the last couple of months I've noticed the following issues. Was wondering if anyone had some ideas on how to work around them: 1.) Even though I currently have "Session Authentication" enabled and also have enabled "Auto-Logoff" after 30 minutes it doesn't appear to be working. If the users are idle looking at an email for 30 minutes or idle at the main windows for 30 minutes they do timeout like they should. However, if they are looking at their mailbox they never timeout. One of my techs believes its because the page is set to auto refresh every 120 seconds and that Usermin is interpreting the refresh as user interaction. I would like to find away for this not to happen anymore. 2.) I have Usermin setup to send mail via the sendmail executable which 98% of time works without incident. However, a few months ago there was a problem where users couldn't write to /dev/null. Usermin was not able to send emails, but reported to the user that it had. I worked out the /dev/null problem and thought this was over with, but found out this morning that we had a milter failing on our server which was telling all connecting servers "451 error 4.3.2 Try again later" Again usermin clients were sending email and not getting any indication that there was a problem. Those mails never left the server and they don't appear to be in the queue anymore. I was thinking about changing it so it actually connects to the server by port and not using the command but I don't know if thats a solution to this problem. Ideas anyone? As usual any help or ideas are greatly appreciated a head of time. Thanks all. -Jesse C. Smillie Gateway School District Monroeville, PA |
