Webmin does, however, still fail to understand the format. I now have to ed=
it the crontab for reporting times manually since Webmin refuses to save an=
y updates/changes unless the log file is present (and it isn't, according t=
o its perception of the world).

Configuring a log file like this:

/logs/access_%YYYY-0%MM-0%DD24

for the Awstats module makes Webmin refuse to save the configuration. It cl=
aims it cannot find the log file.

(I think the problem is that Webmin does not handle the Awstats "variable s=
ubstitution" in general, but if this is supposed to work, it doesn't; the a=
bove log filename resolves to access_20061120, and that file is present)
