I am building headless machines, and I'd like to be able to have a post-install script that can set up various things including webmin. Normally I grab the latest rpm from sourceforge, but you have to jump a few hoops in a browser to get a url - I could jsut save the url, but then when there is a webmin update, it will be wrong again. Which leads to another question for Jamie: Is it possible to have sourceforge or other repositories have a link to "webmin-latest.whatever"? > Those are, by definition, command line (it's not a > good idea to install it using YUM,(IMnotHO)). It doesn't seem available int he default repositories anyway, but why not use yum if it were available? > > Are you asking, can Webmin be driven from a command line? If so, Jamie > will have to address that. I believe it's there but not documented. I think it is too because I have asked that in the past. But that is not my question for today although it is a good one :) Best, Barry |
