To think I was bashing my head on the other side of this problem recently... (Stock RHEL-clone install, private server, do NOT want suexec, but the stock Apache2 package insisted on using it - which broke on my account due to default GID.) Somewhere, there *should* be a tool to automagically do this for you (maybe that's Webmin? <g>) but I don't know what Apache directive is generating your original problem. You should probably visit http://httpd.apache.org and spend some time reading through some of the documentation there. -kgd |
