Thanks all, I just added DefaultRoot ~ in the proftpd.conf - now I cant browse into important areas :) I take it I must now do the same to now protect a user from using a dubious perl/php script under their webmin account. To stop users uploading a file manager like script that they can use to browse into important areas that should not be seen by a user? or what I have already set via the proftp.conf is also going to protect me from this kind of dubious script also?
