[webmin-l] Apache logs

I'm running Debian-Sarge, Webmin version 1.180 using apache2.

When I go to create a new site on the server with virtualmin, I get a
the following:

Setting up log file rotation ..
.. no logging directive found in Apache configuration!

Not sure how to resolve this.  I tried enabling mod_log_common under
the "Re-Configure Known [Apache] Modules" in webmin but when I check
off that checkbox, it reverts back to unchecked after I hit
"configure".

Google hasn't been much help.  Any and all advice is appreciated.
