[webmin-l] new to all this DNS stuff - please advise

Hello,

I'm in the process of setting up a server and having a bit of trouble
understanding this BIND thing and wondered if anyone would be able to
help me out.

I have changed the DNS settings for the URL to point to the server and
that appears to have worked but I haven't configured the server to
know that the URL belongs to it and I'm not sure what I need to do in
the BIND DNS module of Webmin. (Dispite reading the documentation
twice!)

When I ordered the server, it came with the domain
http://blahblahblah.easydservers.com and when I try to use sendmail or
postfix, it defaults to sending from
al...@bl... and not al...@my...

The server is purely for internet (no local network) so I just need to
know how to set up this new domain properly. Any advice welcome...
