[webmin-l] usermin error 500

Hi

i have 1 user who reports he cannot access usermin

he sees the login page , enters his details but gets error 500 back.

my logs show

"May  8 17:27:04 proteus2 usermin(pam_unix)[7476]: authentication failure;
logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost=  user=sheffiel"

where sheffiel is the user in question. non of my other users report a
problem, and i can login via webmin to his usermin account.
