As in what application? We have a Lawson application system that uses the = LDAP to authenticate it's web portal access through. It was written to manage posixAccount class user, and although it = can manage some slight variations on this (like Qmail+LDAP users or Samba = users), those that don't have UIDs or GIDs at all will cause problems.
