No only to say Webmin is starting in /var/log/secure nothing else.

      So looks like the Redhat 9 install missed the Authen::PAM Perl =
module ?

1.270 after a disk crash but the admin logon is not working.

but the logon is not working still. I have tried resetting the password =
too.

          The only thing I can think of doing is reinstalling Redhat 9 =
again from scratch, but would rather not do that.

          Any help welcome.

        Check to see what gets logged to /var/log/authlog and =
/var/webmin/miniserv.error when you try to logon. The reasons for any =
failures
        should be recorded there ..
