If no one replies to you in here then possibilities are that you are misunderstanding the workability of things or just being impatient for someone to answer. Sometimes, if this is indeed a bug, they might be already aware of it. Another thing, if you didn't pay for virtualmin's support anyone has any obligation in helping you out. Just a though. Subject: RE: [webmin-l] Backup Problems Here's an overview of what was discussed: I'm having all my files backed up to a folder on my server and I keep getting duplicate backups with what I assume are temp directories that are not getting deleted, as such: 01245748_backup.pl or some such strange thing. This could be a serious hazard as it keeps doing this over and over eating drive space. I'm using the VirtualMin backup and am using the SSH option to transfer to another server. The folder that was created is called "997319_2_backup.pl". This folder changes from day to day. I've also noticed that this folder is inside the folder that the files are supposed to be SSHed to. Some of the files that are being backed up are in both folder with the same dates, but different times. The ones in the "997319_2_backup.pl" are actually older (by 20 minutes) than the ones in the root folder. Version 1.250 and the backup is set as "Directory of archive files, one per server" |
