I tried creating a new user with the Samba Login bit off and the user got home dir got created fine with files in their home directory, no cyrus authentication error, and the post user creation script ran fine. Looks like a problem with my Samba setup - the objectclasses have changed in my LDAP config so there might be the problem with some of my LDAP groups imported from the old LDAP setup. Not sure why I was having all the errors and issues seemingly unrelated to Samba though? Murray |
