Curious, does the broadcast/scan for servers function look at your
miniserv.conf and use its port for auto-detection?   ...or does it
default to 10000?  I use a non-standard port and have never been able to
make this one work.

My suspicion is it's using 10000 and as a result really isn't finding
any.  If that's the case, you might consider at least adding port on the
page or the module configuration.
