The only way I could resolve it is to actually login via SSH as root to
an effected system..

No .. but to be sure you could remove the /etc/webmin and /var/webmin
directories.

I could arrange for you to login in and check things out. Presently, I
am rebuilding my entire ports system as I informed you earlier.
Hopefully, that will correct the situation. If not, I can set up a
temporary account for you to use to find and hopefully correct this
problem.

I have in the past deleted the /etc/webmin account. I will make sure to
delete the /var/webmin account before I do another build. Since I am
going to be out of town until this weekend, it will not be until then.

I assume the the address: Jamie Cameron <jca...@we...> is secure.
I will need to contact you at that or some other address to get the
account name and password set up. Hopefully, it will not come to this.

In any case, since I am not the only one with this problem, I do not
feel so bad.
