You should try installing and compiling Perl from the source code (from www.perl.org) and running Webmin under that Perl install. Some people who've had this problem in the past reported that re-installing Perl like this solved it. - Jamie I have deleted and reinstalled Perl, although that was from the ports collection. Would sending you the output from 'truss' aid you any? I am going to rebuild my system tonight. It will take a few days since I have KDE and a few other monsters on board. I am rebuilding in place. I cannot afford to shut down the server since it handles my mail also. If this does not work, perhaps we can look into some other means of getting to the bottom of this. By the way, does Webmin hide any files that are not deleted by the uninstall process? Perhaps one of them is corrupted? Just a guess. --=20 Gerard Seibert ge...@se... |
