No, that did not work either. In any case, I had already tried to
configure Webmin not to use SSL, although I do not know why that would
cause Perl to core dump.

There should be some way to analyse this, but it is obviously beyond my
capabilities.

All of my other Perl programs run fine, I just cannot decipher what is
wrong here.
