This could be a Webmin bug..
What exactly does root's crontab contain? You can see it by running  crontab -l   as root, or looking at /var/spool/cron/root (I think).

Here's what I've got.
1. Webmin 1.250
2. Ubuntu ( breezy I think )

My Problem
1. created a cron job in Webmin
2. Cron job doesn't show in the Webmin module
3. Cron job is in root's crontab
4. If I create any new cron job's they over write previews job's

What's going on here and how do I fix the problem?

I was thinking of using an older version of webmin. Maybe go back one 
version.
