That's odd .. 
If you login to the MySQL module as root, can you verify that the
interlinkage user actually exists, and has the correct password?

It looks like your browser is automatically filling in the field .. 
This can be annoying sometimes, but is really a browser bug rather than
a Webmin or Virtualmin problem..
