Hi Faisal, The proper method is to use the Manage Databases page to add an extra DB for the server first, and then install the script. The new database will be selectable from the list on the script installation page .. - Jamie -----Original Message----- From: Faisal Mehmood <fa...@gm...> Subj: [webmin-l] Script Installation in Pro and MYSQL. Date: Wed 16 Nov 2005 12:35 am Size: 1K To: web...@li... Hi. I beleive there is an error in how script installation takes place. In the script installer, the user is shown which database to install the script to. The problem is, only one database name is shown, which is the default database created at virtualmin server creation. For example for a virtual Server named foo.com the database would be foo And only foo is shown at script installation. This poses a problem when installing multiple scripts. They all install to the same database. This should be changed to automatically setup a NEW database, or ask the user to create a new database BEFORE they install the new script. For now, i guess i can manually create a database. Thanks. Faisal. -- ~Dont tell me its hard to contact me~ Faisal Mehmood. fa...@gm... fa...@st... fa...@fa... --- message truncated --- |
