thank you, jamie, for the explanation. so there was no need yet to  
have virtualmin users with different selections of modules?

would it be possible to distinguish somehow the different types of  
users in the webmin user module, e.g. different color? so that we  
would know from the start that changing any settings here in  
virtualmin users is pointless because they are overwritten again?

this was the first time i have used virtualmin. i'm not sure yet if i  
revert back to a standard webmin user. i have just the feeling that  
there is more control available over the individual webmin user than  
over the individual virtualmin user. but again this might be intended  
behavior. anyway, thanks for your reply.
