The issue here is almost certainly that the login you have specified on the master system for the slave is not 'root' or 'admin'. By default, only those two users are allowed to be used for RPC as they have complete access to all Webmin features. If your master user on the slave system is called something other than 'root' or 'admin', you will need to do the following: - Go to the Webmin Users module on the slave system - Click on the Global ACL link next to the master user's name - Change the 'Can accept RCP calls' option to Yes , and click Save - Jamie -----Original Message----- From: "Vern" <ve...@cw...> Subj: [webmin-l] Clustering and RPC issues Date: Sat 29 Oct 2005 2:47 pm Size: 851 bytes To: "Webmin List" <web...@li...> I have been trying for the longest time to setup clustering and every time I do I get the following error message: Invalid RPC login to 192.168.0.11 Any ideas on what's going wrong? I have portmap running (which I think is what I need running) and have disabled the firewall (in case there is a port that needs to be open, is there?) with no luck.
