The virtualmin notice sent out to users will allow a username longer than 16 chars for mysql. *MySQL* *usernames* can be up to a maximum of 16 *characters* long. This *limit* is hard-coded in the *MySQL* servers and clients, and trying to cirumvent it by *... I don't recall editing this area in the notice? But it did cause some grief for one client today... fought and fought before we/I figured out what was going on. Thanks, John Hinton * |
