Then of course, there is the newly released Fedora Directory which I haven't looked at yet but evidently is what used to be Netscape's version that Red Hat purchased from Sun and have now released as GPL. I somewhat suspect that you are thinking in terms of a more generic LDAP v3 type of model and not worrying about specific implementations.
