Hi Vern, There appears to be a bug in the EXT dump program that causes this when doing a backup over SSH when a password is needed. The work-arounds are to either use a TAR format backup, or set up SSH to do RSA authentication so that it doesn't ask for a password. - Jamie -----Original Message----- From: "Vern" <ve...@cw...> Subj: [webmin-l] What's up with the Backup Date: Tue 11 Oct 2005 1:05 pm Size: 694 bytes To: "Webmin List" <web...@li...> Trying to use the backup module to another server and I keep getting the following over and over, with no error message: root@192.168.0.142's password: root@192.168.0.142's password: root@192.168.0.142's password: root@192.168.0.142's password: root@192.168.0.142's password: Any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl - Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at web...@li...
