[webmin-l] Perl error - Undefined symbol "PL_exit_flags"

I'm getting the following error in the browser when trying to write a  
change to a crontab using the webmin crontab edit function:

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/bin/perl: Undefined symbol  
"PL_exit_flags"
crontab: "/usr/local/lib/webmin/cron/cron_editor.pl" exited with  
status 1

A Google search turns up some articles about Perl being broken after  
a 5.8.7 upgrade on FreeBSD (I'm running FreeBSD 4.11), but before  
tearing apart my Perl install, I thought I would see if anyone has  
seen such and knows what causes it in this case.

I'm not seeing any other odd behavior from Perl, for what its worth.
