It gathers the info based on traffic going through the system (2 bridged ports), so you only need one box to monitor your entire network. It also graphs the traffic and allows you to let your customers view their traffic without a login. Over 2000 ISPs use the product in one form or another. Its actually a complete bandwidth management solution, but many ISPs use it just for billing.
