Hello list, Running Webmin 0.99 on a RHL 7.2 system, I'm trying to use the batch users manipulation feature of the Users and Groups module, and have a couple of questions: Is it possible to both specify the UID *and* get an equal primary GID for that user (as standard user adding would do on RHL)? If I specify, say, 2000 as UID and leave the GID field empty, a GID is assigned and a group created. But that GID is different from the UID. If I specify a GID explicitly, no group is created (verified by looking in /etc/group). I wonder if there is a bug in the deletion part of the cgi. If I feed it a set of lines, it reports that the users are deleted. But in reality it skips every second of them, as reported by /etc/passwd. This happens with the diminishing selection of users until they're gone (with the "middle" user being the last to go). Also, the cgi does not remove the primary groups that were created. Is it possible to have those removed as well? Thanks, -- Mvh Ragnar Wisløff ------------------ life is a reach. then you gybe. |
