I cannot login with Mozilla 1.2.1 it brings me right
back to the login page saying "login failed" but this
works fine with MSIE.

I am using Windows2000(SP3) with Mozilla 1.2.1

Just tested this, and it worked fine with Mozilla 1.2.1 on
Windows XP ..

I have found the same issue with Apple's Safari browser. The message "login failed" doesn't appear though log in does just return the log in screen. Calling a page directly after loging in does work so authentication is ok.

Is the login page maybe being cached? Try doing a
shift-reload to force a re-display after logging in ..
