I use a SuSE 8.1 box to administer a number of RedHat
7.3 servers through webmin. When I go to the Cluster-
Software module on my SuSE 8.1 box and click on a
host, the resulting screen shows 'SuSE 8.1' as the value
of the 'OS from Webmin' instead of RedHat 7.3.

The cause of this has been found. When webmin 1.040 is
released, install it and click the Refresh package lists
button to fix it.
