After editing a file and then trying to save changes by
clicking the save button the webmin applet stops
responding.
Broswer: IE 6.0 (with updates)
OS: Windows 2000/XP (with updates)
I tried using the file manager in with the exact same
browser and OS, and it
worked fine. Are you editing a large file? And are you
accessing webmin
through a proxy?

The file that I'm editing is "index.php", which is 15 KB in size.
And are you accessing webmin through a proxy?
No I'm not. This is how I'm accessing webmin on my network:
https://192.168.1.25:10000
and sometimes from home using:
https://myhostname:10000
Could this be due to me maximizing the file editor window???

Odd .. I was able to edit files of 200kb in size with no
problems.
All I can suggest is to try a different browser ..
