OS=Solaris 8 for Intel

In the sendmail main config page, the start sendmail
button is always labled "start" as if the daemon is not
running when in fact it is.

Webmin is probably looking in the wrong place for the
sendmail PID
file. Is it at /etc/mail/sendmail.pid on your system, or
elsewhere such
as /var/run/sendmail.pid ? You can adjust the path by
clicking on
Module Config and changing the 'Full path to sendmail pid
file' option.
