#5630 Network Interface Configuration issue with saved netplan
I have 2 interfaces on the server ens18 and ens19
ens18 is IPv4 only and ens19 is IPv6 only: this is due to how my host provider provides IPv4 and IPv6 they have to be on their own interface.
obviously making any change in the Webmin Network Configuration, when saved, saves this to the netplan yaml file.
I had the netplan setup prior to the install of Webmin and all was working and I could netplan apply the file. But after making a change and saving it in the Webmin Network Configuration, the changes would not apply via webmin, so I went to the console and tried a manual netplan apply and it returned that there was an error in the netplan yaml file.
On editing the file you will see in the attached image that ['/'] had been inserted into the addresses of the ens19 interface, manually editing this and removing it allows for netplan apply to complete.
In Network Config - Network interfaces for the ens19 interface I have IPv4 set as "No address configured" but changing this and putting an IPv4 address in resolves the issue and no ['/'] is inserted when changes are made
Sadly due to my configuration I need to be able to leave the IPv4 configured as "No address configured" on the ens19 interface
Any help to resolve this is much appreciated.
Ok I see the cause of this bug - it will be fixed in the next Webmin release.
