    Hello,

    It works for me.

    Try running:

    apt-get clean
    apt-get update
    apt-get install webmin

    Ilia,
you do not understand what i mean.
    i have already updated webmin,
but when i enter webmin UI i am still prompted to update webmin.

i call from console "apt-cache policy webmin"
    i get the version:
    Installed: 1.999-2
    Candidate: 1.999-2

    i am uptodate.
so why am i still prompted to update?

    cheers mike

Could this come from error detecting the right version?
Atleast webmin displays only 1.999 and not 1.999-2 in the info.
    Look at the attached photo.
    cheers mike

This is a bug in Webmin handling minor release versions. Jamie will disable those notifications as soon as he gets to the computer and can edit webmin.com website. Later, the release after we will fix that.

You can safely ignore it for now.

sure this a bug in the webmin UI.

we always update wavelab external from UI automaticly with script.
so it does not touch us.

We'll likely release a Webmin 2.0 update soon that will fix this properly..
