Hi
Webmin version 1.953 on Centos 8

I can add multiple paths to Webmin users > Modules > File Manager
Page: File Manager access control options
Allow access to directories : in the textbox
(For any users)

After logging in using the Webmin user, Only the first path or directory contents are listed.

Also the treeview on left in File Manager is blank.

When using root user, the File Manager displays all the path correctly.

The Webmin user runs as root in File Manager Module.

    Can you attach the .acl file in /etc/webmin/filemin for this user?

      work_as_user=
      work_as_root=1
      allowed_for_edit=application-x-php application-x-ruby application-xml application-xslt+xml application-javascript application-x-shellscript application-x-perl application-x-yaml application-json application-x-x509-ca-cert application-pkix-cert application-sql application-x-sql application-x-asp application-x-aspx application-xhtml+xml
      allowed_paths=/home/GXXX/data/wyyyyy /home/GXXX/data/perm/test1 /home/GXXX/data/perm/test2
      max=

      All the paths are correctly listed in the .acl file. I had checked this earlier.

      Thanks.

    Does it make any difference if you switch to the to the older Blue Framed Theme?

    I tried the old theme but unfortunately it is the same.
    The code seems to iterate through all the paths in the filemin ACL but for some reason the TREE panel on the left just remains blank due to which the right-side box just has the root folder set to that.
    Maybe you can check why the tree on the left doesnt display the allowed paths that can then be selected.

    Thanks.

    Maybe you can check why the tree on the left doesnt display the allowed paths that can then be selected.

    The issue is happening in old Gray Framed Theme as well, which doesn't have a tree?
