I installed webmin from tar bal /opt/webmin-1.920/
as well as perl modules
yum -y install perl perl-Net-SSLeay openssl perl-IO-Tty perl-Encode-Detect
after installation i see new updates on webmin gui
after update i see "Recent package updates (such as a new kernel version) require a reboot to be fully applied."

i reboted server but still see same message "Recent package updates (such as a new kernel version) require a reboot to be fully applied."

again reboted and few more times
still message is there :)

Hi,

There is a bug in this version. 1.921 fixes it. You either need a patch or install devel devel version from here, using the following command:

yum update https://download.webmin.com/devel/rpm/webmin-1.921-1.noarch.rpm

that 1.920 has this bug and 1.921 fixes it. 🙂
