The javascrit auto scroll feature when running a cron job is not working properly.. I would prefer to have the opportunity to just disable it completely..
If there is a big output the auto scroll is always behind and when the cron job ends you can't scroll down because the scroll bar is locked
This have been an issue since the new design
Hi,
What exactly doesn't work? Scroll feature been tested and working quite well.
I don't see it as working quite well :)
It very buggy if there are large outputs.. the scroll is almost always behind and when the job completes the scrollbar is locked and you can't see the last part of the output
I always use the latest version of chrome
I would suggest the user have the ability to disable the auto scroll feature
Sendt fra min Samsung Galaxy-smartphone.

Okay, I will make a patch in couple of days.
Thank you for reporting.
And no matter if you fix the issue or not it would be very appreciated
if you could still toggle the auto-scroll on/off when the cron job
runs.. if you want to check something in the beginning of the output and
don't want to wait 5-10 min until the script has completed

Okay, I added an option to disable scrolling for progressive outputs.
Check theme configuration.

Have just upgraded to the latest version of webmin (have not changed any
option/config) but now I can't see the output of a cron job until it is
completed?
If a cron job takes 1-2 minutes or more you can first see the output
after it has completed?

Before I upgraded I could follow the output as it progressed.. And there
was an icon in the upper right corner indicating that the job was
running.. That icon is now gone..
The whole page is just grey until the job has completed and the output
is written in one big chunk

Hi, I finally found the reason why it wasn't shown for such cases. It's rare but still needed a fix.
https://github.com/qooob/authentic-theme/commit/3510ebdaa51c08bbae06067d1396aa42a9ef455b
Enjoy.
I'd recommend you to run force theme update now to test it in no time. It's in theme's configurations.
Ok, but where do I find the theme configuration?
To run force theme update so the cronjob will print each progress in the
cron job output?

Ok, seems like the progressive output works now
But now I have another question.. How to change the encoding of the
output from utf8 to iso?

But I still think it should be possible to toggle the scrollbar ON/OFF
run-time while the cron job is running
You should have a toggle button in the output window so you can look
closer on one part of the output and while its still running toggle back
to deactivate the scrollbar and the viewport will jump back to always
show the latest output
Large cron jobs can easily take 5-10 min and thats a long time to wait
if you only want to look closer to one small part of the output
