Dear all,
on Bacula Backup Module we i try to restore some files
it isnot possible to browse the file tree. By clicking the ... button in the
Restore Files Menu
a new Web Window
(http://bacula-dir:10000/bacula-backup/treechooser.cgi?volume=&files=&job=1)
is opened but it is blank.
i think this is an old problem, i find some post that said this issue start from the webmin version 1.52
Can you select a job to restore though on the restore form? Or does that not work either?
Hi,
yes i can select and restore with success the backup but in the box "*Files
to restore" * to restore the file i have to insert manually the file, but
obviously if i cant get access to the list of file and folder pressing the
button "..." I am forced to restore all backup using " / " and that will
restore all folder and file that the job backed up

Hello,
I've got the same problem. The treechooser works on other webmin-modules, but not in bacula.
Anyone with ideas?
I just realized what the cause could be - the bacula module file chooser is a Java applet. You need to make sure you have Java installed and enabled in your browser for it to work.
I found my problem. Firefox 52.01 doesn't support Java anymore. If I use Internet-Explorer it works.
Anything new on this. I'm having the same issue.
I can do a backup and when trying to restore the "File Tree Chooser" says undefinied
I have checked the database and can see the files have been saved.
I have tried the following. I'm on mac
1. Firefox
2. Chrome
3. Safari
I have also installed Java 8
Nope issue still remains same for me too,
Now I am using BAT client on Windows 7 to restore files from bacula.

Can you confirm you are on version 1.974? Do you have a "jstree" folder inside the bacula-backup folder? Also what theme are you using?
If you see a completely blank page I think you are not on the latest version. If you see the OK and Cancel buttons and an empty list, please check that you selected a full backup or an incremental/differential backup where some files were changed.
I have the same case
I can see the buttons, i have only one full backup job and it has 4 files but still not able to load the list
at the other hand i can list the file on local machine where the bacula dir is installed
thanks
Since I cannot reproduce the issue, can you check if you have errors in the console (F12)?

}
