#4583 Adding user ignores the UID_MIN and GID_MIN in /etc/login.defs

I have no idea why Fedora 21 changed the min user number from 500 to 1000 but in any case if I try to create a new user using webmin, it suggests numbers starting at 500, not 1000.

You can configure the based UID for new users in Webmin, in the Users and Groups module on the Module Config page.

Good to know — but not something that casual users would be aware of — seems to me that webmin should pull in the defaults from /etc/login.defs
