Hi when installing webmin on my Ubuntu 12.04 lts server or debian 7 (tried both) i get a error:
Voorbereiden om webmin 1.580 te vervangen (door webmin_1.650_all.deb) ...
Uitpakken van vervangende webmin ...
Instellen van webmin (1.650) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/info/webmin.postinst: 58: /var/lib/dpkg/info/webmin.postinst: cannot create /etc/webmin/uninstall.sh: Directory nonexistent
chmod: kan geen toegang krijgen tot â/etc/webmin/uninstall.shâ: Bestand of map bestaat niet
grep: /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf: Bestand of map bestaat niet
Webmin install complete. You can now login to http://h2214292:/
as root with your root password, or as any user who can use sudo

I tried all kind of installation methods. Directly from commandline, reportory, as sudo ...
But everytime i get the same error. Even after clean server install.

Can you attach the contents of the file /tmp/webmin-setup.out , which gets created after a failed install? It will tell me why exactly the install process is failing.
i login to my server with the root user and this is the webmin-setup.out.
i isn't located in the /tmp folder but in the root folder
Webmin is a web-based interface that allows Unix-like operating

Ok, now we are getting somewhere! What does the command "id" output on your system when using the Dutch language?
root@h2218018:~# id
UID=0(root) GID=0(root) groepen=0(root)
Ok, this will be fixed in the next Webmin release (which should be out in a week or two).
