With version 1.610 (from 1.550 new features) the active network showed also the speed of the network line.
In 1.620 the speed of the line is gone?

How to find the speed (after auto negotiate) of the active network?

Regards,

D.G.

    Update:
Found out that Debian Linux 5.0 does show the speed! Debain Linux 6.0 does not. Is there a way to activate this within Debain 6.0, or should i ask this at Debian forum?
    Regards, DG.

You need to have the "ethtool" command installed to show the network speed. On Debian, you should be able to run :

    apt-get install ethtool

    to get it.

    Thanks!
This was the case, default ethtool is installed on 5.0 not on 6.0
    Resolution set to fixed.
