#3950 Webmin 1.550 for Ubuntu 10.04.2 64bit desktop -full of bugs
bug 1: webmin does not install itself for autostart (Boot system : Upstart) and obviously does not start at boot
bug 2: changing default gateway in network configuration an error allways occour
bug 3 when changing IP configuration of network cards in network configuration, I get an error about IPV6, even if IPV6 is disabled
bug 4: in "Boot system : Upstart" the services does not show correctly for Start at boot? and Running now?
You should better test version before releasing them!
Tested on three different PCs
That's odd, because many people are running Webmin on Ubuntu 10.04 and haven't reported these issues. Are you perhaps running 10.10 instead?
Also, try un-installing Webmin and installing the 1.555 development version from http://www.webmin.com/devel.html , and see if that fixes the issues.
I've had the same issue once I updated to 1.560, that on reboots webmin does not start. Also trying to change the Upstart setting fails.
Regarding the starting at boot issue - try running "insserv webmin" . If this reports errors, then they will be blocking Webmin from configuring itself from starting at boot time.
