I have an FTP password that uses @ and $ in its characters, however Webmin won't take those as a valid password. Virtualmin, on the other hand, will take the password without an issue. Hoping to get this corrected....

Which specific Webmin module are you referring to?
Many use a URL-like format for storing backup destinations, in which an @ doesn't work well as it is used as a username separator.
