We have a user we've granted chroot-ed access to File Manager as follows "Chroot directory for entire file manager: /export"
Once this user has executed a Copy and then a Paste operation they are unable to perform subsequent Info operations such as changing owner or permission. They begin receiving "failed to update ..X.. No such file or direcotry" errors and the key is that X begins with the folder they are Chroot-ed to. [/export in our case].
The problem can be solved by the user if they log out of Webmin and log back in.
So do permission operations work *before* doing a copy and paste?
It seems unlikely that merly copying a file would break this, as the file manager is stateless..
