After upgrading OS X 10.5 running Webmin from 1.470 to 1.490,

the complex password is not accepted any longer when trying to login.

The password starts with the ! (exclamation mark) and has a length of 32 bytes .

The host logs:
Sep 19 18:54:01 hostname webmin[6696]: Invalid login as username from 123.123.123.123 (anonymised)

When logging in with same credentials using OS X interface, there is no problem at all.
Tried with both Firefox 3.x, Safari and Opera 10 browsers, all 3 return error message "Login failed. Please try again."

Can you change the password from the command line, as documented at http://www.webmin.com/faq.html ?

If so, does selecting a different long password work?
