#3428 Error messages when changing users from one group to another
When I created a new group, I have put my account in this new group.
After having done some tests to make sure everything was correct I then added many users using the unix account conversion option and put them in the new group.
Every time I have changed users from one group to another, I get the following error message:
"hostname" has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error Code -12263
After getting this error message I can't do anything else that go to a terminal window, stop the webmin service and restart it. After that I can continue using webmin normally.
BUT, I have seen it in 2 occasions, when I get this error message a few times in a row, our smartsocket server software crashes. I don't understand why it crashes but the only link I can think of between the 2 events is that we have a module in webmin that enables us to stop and start the smartsockets software.
Otherwise, webmin crashes here and there without no apparent reasons... We stop and restart it using the scvadm command of Solaris 10.
I'm using webmin version 1.420 on Solaris 10 on an M5000.
Any idea as to why the user's group chage would make webmin crash and make an application managed with it crash as well?

That's an odd message .. it is appearing in a popup window in your browser?
The only time I've seen something like this is when there are issues with SSL.
Does disabling SSL in Webmin help?
Yes, the error message appears in a pop-up.
Since I'm not the one who installed and configured it in the first place, I do not know if we are using SSL at all... We are using https though, does it means we are using SSL?
Yes, https:// means you are using SSL.
Do you get this same error if you try a different browser, perhaps on a different machine?
