#3068 runs out of memory

I am using freebsd 7.0-rc2 and after upgrading to 1.40
it works for a while and then I get out of memory errors in my log shown below.

Out of memory during request for 4084 bytes, total sbrk() is 534734848 bytes!

after this is logged no pages are served and stopping
and restarting doesnt fix it

the server has 1gig of memory and 1 gig of swap

I have resorted back to 1.37 which works ok for what i am using it for although there are filesystem errors
and such.

When this happens, is the Webmin miniserv.pl process using up a lot of RAM?
Also, is there some particular action in Webmin that triggers it, or does it just happen even when the web interface isn't being used?
