#3063 webmin not running

Hi all,

I am using UBUNTU LAMP server version 6.06

I installed webmin version 1.400 successfully and used it to configure my apache webserver and my webserver is working fine, however after that when i try to get to webmin by doing this http://localhost:10000 i am not getting access to it and getting an error message that says Firefox cant establish a connection to the server at localhost:10000 citing following reasons
1. Site could be temporary unavailable
2. Unable to load any pages check computer network connection
3.Computer or network is protected by firewall proxy:
Why does it do this and how to fix it

Could it be because version 1.400 has bugs, cause version 1.390 works fine in my old computer

A few things to check :

1) Is Webmin running? Try stopping and restarting it with the command /etc/webmin/restart

2) Does your Ubuntu box have a firewall blocking port 10000? If this is the case, you would see the connection to Webmin take 30+ seconds to time out before failing.
