#2845 Can't login to SuSE 10.1

Hi,

I can't login to any SuSE 10.1 server with SSH.
To other versions the ssh connection is working.

Login & password no accepted and in the messages:
Jun 12 12:32:59 cl1-dhcp sshd[6131]: fatal: Timeout before authentication for 19
2.168.x.y
Jun 12 12:58:24 cl1-dhcp sshd[6160]: Did not receive identification string from
192.168.x.y

I tried out ssh2 login module but it was unsuccessful
because the aplet said:
Authentication method 'password' not supported by server.
In java window: Authentication failed, permission denied.

Of course, I can login into this machine with my username+password.

Are you sure the SSH login module is connecting with SSH and not telnet? You can check this by clicking on the Module Config link and making sure that 'Connection type' is set to 'Secure shell'.
